Agnes "Nancy" Johnson

Nancy Johnson, 78, of Homosassa, FL passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County at Sugarmill Manor ALF in Homosassa, FL. Nancy was born in Bonneybridge, Scotland on May 31, 1939 to Anne and Thomas Greenan. She grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is survived by her husband, Derek and daughter, Lindsay, granddaughter, Olivia and son-in-law, Tim. Nancy and Derek were married in Keflavik, Iceland in 1968 and lived and worked there until 1970. Derek’s work took them to Morocco, Greece, England, Scotland, South Korea and Hawaii. They moved to Florida in 1996  and settled in Homosassa. Nancy had a passion for cooking and enjoyed entertaining at home. She ran a home based catering service for a number of years while living in England. She was also an accomplished secretary and on arrival in Florida became a realtor working alongside Derek. She was a member of the British American Club, Citrus County. Nancy and Derek enjoyed a rich and rewarding life together travelling to many parts of the world over the span of 49 years. Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband and family.
