Beverly Vollstedt

Beverly Sue Vollstedt, 73 of Homosassa Springs, Florida passed away September 12th 2023 with her family by her side.  She was born May 14th 1951 in Indiana to Helen and John B. Cheek. She graduated from Indian River High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. 
Throughout her life she lived in Indiana, South Carolina, Hawaii, California, Illinois and lastly her beloved Florida. She worked in real estate, as a deck and kitchen designer for Menards and volunteered as an EMT for the Cambridge Volunteer Fire Dept in Illinois.  She was an amazing cook and seamstress. She enjoyed doing crafts like making jewelry and sewing Easter and Christmas dresses for her beloved granddaughters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her dedicated husband of 36 years, Thomas Vollstedt; daughter, Beth (Dave) Evers; son, John Tyler who gifted her with three beautiful granddaughters, Ava and Olivia (twins) and Kylee; a sister, Sandra Suriano and brother Ron (Dawn) Cheek. 
Sue’s remains will be scattered at one of her favorite locations at an ash scattering ceremony to be conducted at a later date.
