Carol Lynne McQueen

Carol Lynne McQueen, 75, of Floral City, FL, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 6. 2021, after a lengthy illness. Born in Decatur, IL on October 1, 1945. Carol is survived by her husband of 45 years, Peter McQueen, Floral City, and her step-daughter, Terri Lynne Bowman, Bristol, IN, and her children, plus her step-son, Brian McQueen, Mishawaka, IN. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Lloyd W. and Maxine L. Billerman, also her youngest brother, Steven Billerman and her step-daughter Cheryl J. (McQueen) Borsodi. Carol is survived by her sister, Jan (Girard) Durbin of Decatur, IL; their two daughters Jenel (Kevin) Short and their son, Jude and Anne (Patrick) Shields and their daughter Nora, and son Ryan Shields as well as Carol’s brother, David Billerman (Diane), and their children Kristen and Ashley. Attending since 2002, Carol was a long time active member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, serving as a teller, and assistant treasurer. Requiem Eucharist and Burial Office for Carol will be held at St. Margaret’s, 114 N. Osceola Ave, Inverness, FL on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 10:00 AM In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Margaret’s Memorial Fund, or to Vitas Healthcare (Hospice).
