Gail Lee Kubik

On Saturday January 4, 2025, Gail Lee Kubik (nee Hibbs) entered eternal life. She was born June 20th, 1948, on the summer solstice, her nickname of Sunshine was how she lived her life. She dedicated her life to making those around her happy, she was a Girl scout leader who, with her husband Gary, were instrumental in helping create the first girls Girl Scout Softball league in Milwaukee. She was known by all to welcome everyone to her home, and always listened intently to those around her. She enjoyed Fishing and camping and hunting and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew her will unquestionably miss her “sunshine”. Gail was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Ella Hibbs and her sister Bonnie Vickers (nee Hibbs). Gail is survived by her husband and soul mate Gary Kubik, and their daughters Lynn Flower (William Flower) and Keri Nowaczyk (Eric Nowaczyk) and her grandchildren Jake (Alyssa) Flower, Jessica Dippel (Allen), Stacia Nowaczyk and Cody Nowaczyk. She is also survived by siblings Joy (Jay) Yothers, Jeff Hibbs, Milton Hibbs, Cheri Hibbs (Humberto Luna) and Brother-in-law Wayne Vickers, and other nieces and nephews. Also remembered by those that called her “mom” and friends that have just been touched by her “sunshine”.
