John Earl McPherson Sr.

John "Earl" McPherson, 84, of Inverness, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Vitas Hospice House in Lecanto, Florida.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.  

Earl was born on July 7,1939, in Scranton, Kentucky, to Theodore and Virginia McPherson.  He attended high school and enlisted with the United States Army on August 6,1962.  He was a Private E-1 Sharpshooter and Basic Missileman, and served for 4 years.  He worked as an industrial machine mechanic at Highland Computer Forms in Hillsboro, Ohio, prior to retirement.  He also loved to farm and spent many years on the family farm raising soy beans and corn. 

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Connie McPherson, daughters, Marcia Agee, Annette Blake, Michelle Norris, Tina Pyle, and son, John McPherson, Jr.  He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  His family meant everything to him. 

Earl loved his Lord and Savior, his family, fishing, and tinkering in the garage.  He loved worshiping his Lord, singing with his church and family and helping anyone who needed it.  He had the biggest heart and that showed by all he did for everyone.
