Kim Truchinski

Kim L. Truchinski, age 67, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by loved ones on July 11th, 2024. 

Kim was born July 6th, 1957 to her mother, Dorothy Clark and her father, Harold Towe, later adopted and raised with her 4 brothers, Lee Wimberly, Robin Wimberly, Brett Wimberly and Bud Wimberly. Kim excelled in everything she did; graduating from Los Angeles Harbor College in 1994 with an Associate’s degree in Art. Throughout her life she was a successful business owner, including a hair salon and a daycare. Kim’s hobbies consisted of researching her family tree, sewing keepsakes for family, cooking the best meals and shopping with her favorite people. 

At the age of 28, Kim married her best friend and love of her life, Robert Truchinski, and they spent a further 41 years happily married. Kim grew everyday as an inspiring individual, the most outstanding wife, and amazing mother to 2 daughters, Melissa and Christina. She later became a grandma to 9 wonderful grandchildren; McKayla, Piper, Alex, Zoie, Blake, Jasmine, Logan, Connor, and Alison. Even later in life, she became a Nana to 3 great-grandchildren; Grayson, Raelynn and Caddo. Family was her everything. 

Kim was a caring and thoughtful person, whom spent most of her life thinking about others. She was always surrounding herself with friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. Kim could almost always be found spending time with her beloved Husband, hanging with her various pets, or traveling to spend time with friends and family. 

To know her, was to love her.
