Lawrence Joseph Schwartz Sr.

Lawrence Joseph Schwartz Sr., 74, of Citrus Springs, FL, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL. He was born July 9, 1946, in the Bronx, NY, to James and Florence Schwartz. Lawrence had a passion for woodworking and was a talented carpenter. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother, Florence, his brother John, and his son Nicholas. He is survived by his sister Helen, son Larry, his daughters Katharina and Melaina, son-in-law Nicholas, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at North Oak Baptist Church in Citrus Springs, FL on May 29, 2021 at 4pm. Immediately following, a gathering to celebrate Lawrence’s life will also be held at the church. All are welcome. The family asks that in place of flowers that a donation be sent to Vitas Healthcare for their generosity to take care of Lawrence in his time of need. Cremation by McGan Cremation Services LLC.
