Leland A Moore

Leland A. Moore was born Jan. 11, 1939, and passed on Sept. 10, 2014, under the care of the Nature Coast Hospice, he was 75 years old. 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Moore in 2011. Leland was a loving husband and father. 
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Electric of Schenectady New York, and The Tampa Tribune of Florida. He was born in Fish House, New York, in the little yellow house down the street where we grew up as kids. 
Leland (known as Bud by the family and close friends) is survived by his two sisters, Doris Preston of Arizona and Jane Lucas of Beverly Hills, Florida; his children Diana and Jack of Cedar City, Utah, Leland and Skyler of Spring Hill, Florida, and Julie and Sharon of Crystal River, Florida; his brother-in-law Forest Lucas and his wife Geri of Citrus Springs, Florida; and his loving granddaughter Kimberly Moore of Crystal River, Florida.
There will be no public services. Cremation will be handled by McGan Cremation Service of Hernando, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Nature Coast or to The American Cancer Society.
