Mary Glenda Edelen

Mary Glenda Roddenberry Edelen, 89, of Dunnellon, FL (formerly of Bowling Green, FL and Bartow, FL) went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL.
Glenda was born on October 20, 1933 in Bowling Green, FL to Tilton Burdette (Jake) Roddenberry and Lillie Emma Baggett Roddenberry. 
She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. 
Glenda was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother, Jerry Roddenberry and daughter, Sandra Kay Edelen.
She is survived by her daughters, Jan Jackson of Wauchula, and Patricia Wheeler of Dunnellon, FL and her son, David Edelen Roddenberry of Gainesville, FL, sisters Rheta Knapp of Orlando, and Carol Roddenberry of Acworth, Georgia, four grandchildren, Krista Jucknath of Mulberry, FL, Beverly Jucknath of Tampa, FL, Andrew Wheeler of Dunnellon, FL, and Amber Hill of Fort Meade, FL, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life service will be officiated by Pastor Bill Baldwin.  at 11:00am, Saturday, January 14, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, 135 E. Broadway St., Fort Meade, FL.
