Richard “Rick” Anthony Barletta, resident of Inverness, Florida, formerly of East Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on February 8th, 2019 at the age of 75 years in the comfort of his own home surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 25th, 1943.
Rick loved photography and traveling – two passions that he shared with his wife, daughter, grandchildren and friends. He especially loved traveling to the Grand Tetons and being involved in camera clubs such as Brentwood Camera Club in Tennessee, Springhill Camera Club in Florida, and Nashua Camera Club in New Hampshire. He was an award-winning, published Florida Wildlife photographer.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karen Bender Barletta of Inverness, Florida, daughter Rene Barletta Jones of Merrimack, New Hampshire, grandchildren Andrew Richard Jones of Fort Collins, Colorado, Matthew Jones of Fort Collins, Colorado and Lauren and her husband Mathew and their son Charles Orzechowski of Whitinsville, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his parents Angelo “Lefty” Barletta and Angelina (Gomes) Barletta and sister Janice Manfredi.
No formal funeral services.
A private Celebration of Life was held on Friday, Feb. 8th.
