Bob was born on September 29, 1951 in Portland Maine to the late Robert and Marion Whalen, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Taylor. Bob is survived by his wife, Susan M. Whalen; daughter Amy M. Williams (Steve) Jackson, Georgia; two grandchildren Tyler and Emily and his beloved dog Sadie.
