Spencer A Fox Jr

Spencer A Fox Jr., 67, of Inglis, Fla., passed away on August 17, 2016 at Hospice of Citrus County in Lecanto, FL. Spencer was born on August 20, 1948 and raised in Pavilion, NY by his loving parents, Spencer and Gloria Fox. He spent most of his adult life in Florida. Spencer was an avid hunter and fisherman that loved the outdoors and being by the water. He loved his family and friends, spending every second with his children and grandchildren. He had a quick, sarcastic wit that make anyone smile. In the last several years he enjoyed his retirement by taking his boat out to the Gulf, planting his own fruit trees,  gardening around his house and entertaining family and friends with his clam bakes and BBQs. Spencer is survived by his children Stacy (Rob) Whalen, Michael (Cheryl) Fox and Kelly Foss; nine grandchildren, Kristi Fox, Emma Whalen, Max Whalen, Olivia (Kyle) Fox, Zach Fox, Rece Fox, Sage Fox, Samantha Foss, and Billy Foss; 3 great grandchildren, Hayden, Aben, and Camden; 1 brother, Wayne Fox; 1 sister, Cindy (Louis Gutierrez) Hensler; predeceased by his parents. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later time.
