She was strong in her faith and now resides in Heaven beside her Jack and other loved ones who have passed away. Vesta worked many years in the administrative field and retired from BB&T. She moved to sunny Florida full time in 2018 and enjoyed working outside in her yard and spending time with friends and family who visited.

Vesta will be missed by everyone who knew her, but her spirit and memory will continue to guide and inspire all who were lucky enough to know her. A memorial to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass – it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”

“Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”
