Wayne N Badessa

Wayne N Badessa, 64, of Inverness, Fla., (formerly of Saugus & Lynn, MA) passed away on November 1, 2014 surrounded by his wife and family under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. Wayne was born on August 23, 1950 in Chelsea, MA to Nardo and Anna (Hagen) Badessa. He loved music and he and his wife owned Citrus Party Time Music. They emcee’d weddings, reunions and parties from the Mount Washington Cruise Ship in NH to Florida. Wayne was also an automotive technician and the lead mechanic on his son’s (Rick) race car at Citrus County Speedway from 2000-2005. He loved hockey, baseball, and fishing with his son-in-laws and his brother-in-law, Jim, and his precious dog, Maggie. Wayne is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Donna (Rand) Badessa of 44 years; one son, Eric (Rick) Badessa; two daughters, Deborah Tierney (Gary)and Lisa Lewis (Patrick); Eight Grandchildren, Jennifer Chance, Jayme DeSimone, Kayla Badessa, Amanda Badessa, Lisa Hennessey, Dylan Hennessey, Chelsea Lewis, Lindsey Lewis; Two Greatgrandchildren, Kairi Brooke and Zayleigh Elizabeth expected in Dec.; 2 special little boys Devin Solony and Tristan Whiteside and several nieces and nephews
