Winifred Patricia Beecher was born on September 27, 1945 in Georgetown, Guyana South America. The fourth of five children, to the late Patrick and Muriel Reid. She was fondly known as "Patsy" to all who knew her. Patsy immigrated to United Kingdom in 1964, to join her sister the late Claudette Jeune, where she studied at Queens General Hospital in Croydon Surrey to become a nurse. Patsy met and married Henry Beecher in 1968 from that union two beautiful children were born, Jennifer and Simon. Patsy worked in the nursing profession for many years in England United Kingdom. Patsy and her family immigrated to United States in 1986 where she proudly continued in her profession as a Registered Nurse with the intention to become a Nurse Practitioner, unfortunately Patsy became ill and her career came to an abrupt end. Patsy was a devoted wife to her husband and a devoted mother to her children. Family was the center of her life everything she did was always for the benefit of her immediate and extended family. Always going above and beyond the call of duty. Patsy ensured her family had the best opportunities life has to offer.
She was predeceased by her Father Patrick Reid, her mother Muriel Reid, her brother Victor Reid, her sister Shirley Reid, brother Paul Reid, sister Claudette Jeune, and brother in laws Cyril "Wenick Bowling and Stephen Jeune. She leaves to mourn, her husband Henry "Greg", of Beverly Hills Florida, her children Jennifer (Reggie) of Orlando Florida, Simon of London England, three grandchildren, nieces Paula (Desmond) of Upper Marlboro Maryland, Valerie of Croydon, England, Nephew Patrick of Guyana South America, Compton (Jennifer) of South Norwood, England, many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Patsy loved the Lord wholeheartedly. She maintained a loving and Christian Spirit during her illness, until her departure from this life. Patsy will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts.
