Zane E Shaver

Zane E. Shaver of Hernando, FL was born November 11, 1943 in Turnwood, NY and beloved husband to Janice C. Varga-Shaver passed March 25, 2018. Zane had a very full life and enjoyed living each and every moment. He had worked many jobs in his life including Balsam Lake Club, he had a family business at Beaverkill Trout Hatchery and Logging in Turnwood NY, he was a plumber for the Rockefeller Development in Lew Beach, NY and also for Don Laughlin, Riverside Casino in Laughlin, NV and Beaverkill Trout Club in Livingston Manor, NY.  He was also the town judge for the town of Hardenburg, NY. Zane loved to travel, hunt, hike and fish. He had also learned to enjoy working in flower beds and doing yard work with his wife Janice. Zane and Janice combined their two families to make 1 very large and very loving family.  Zane is survived by: wife Janice C. Varga-Shaver, Children: Brenda Wolcott (Bob) of Livingston Manor, NY,  Frank Shaver (Maria) of Turnwood, NY, Lori Endriss (Eric) of Lew Beach, NY all children by his first wife Carolyn. Christina Libner (Chip) of Floral City, FL, Steve Varga (Barri) of Greenfield,IN, Valarie Peltz (Norm) of Rogers City, MI from Janice's side. Combined grandchildren:Chris, Nicole & Mitch Shaver, Allen Wolcott (Amy), Eric Wolcot (Kira), Carrie Endriss (Brandon), Kyle Endriss (Carly). Nicholas and Eric Koss, Travis (Megan) and Braydon Varga, Cody Elowsky, Benjamin and Kaitlyn Peltz. Combined great grandchildren: Hailey, Cassie, Trevor and Cheyenne Wolcott. Leah Elowsky, and Jackson Koss.
Zane loved each and every one of his children, grand children and great grandchildren and was greatly loved in return. He had many friends whom he would do anything for as well. He had become the "Go to" person for many. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Gloria Shaver, his first wife ,Carolyn, his second wife, Margaret, and brother, Gary. There will be a celebration of life at the Hernando VFW, date and time to be determined. Arrangements by McGan Cremation Service LLC, Inverness, FL.
